Art trades, art threads, collabs, opening requests/commissions, helping beginners are good ways to get involved!

There's also cool things like the "OC plaza" and also "Clubs and Crews" in the forums!

I'd recommend interacting as much as possible with the community to get more people to know you.
They get to see cool art and you get cool people to look at your art, it's a win win! ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧
Being active on the forms, reviewing often, participating in collabs, forums, art trades, opening up commissions (if you feel comfortable), did I mention forms? The forums can seriously make you become more well known. There are also things like the "OC plaza" where people draw each other's characters. That's the basics. I could yap for hours about this lol.

I'm very glad you are having fun here. It's the same for me. I am getting so inspired here that not even sites like DA were able to do it. Forums are another great way to get involved especially collabs. I love joining them to test my artistic boundaries and know new people.
